Note on Reforming Myanmar’s News Media Law, November 2016

The Centre for Law and Democracy, with the support of International Media Support and FOJO Media Institute, prepared an analysis of Myanmar’s News Media Law and the associated Rules adopted under the Law in light of international standards on freedom of expression. It highlights positive features while making recommendations for further reform. The note is available here.
